Congratulations Patrick Wynne on being named Student of the Year and receiving the prestigious Rory Sheils Award.
This award recognises participation across all facets of school life this year. Whether in the classroom or through his involvement in extracurricular initiatives, Patrick has consistently demonstrated an open and dedicated TY spirit!

STMC Blue Run 5K+

We invite all members of our community to join us for the annual STMC Blue Run 5K+ this Saturday morning. Led by our Student Council, this tradition is a highlight of the school calendar and a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and school grounds before the weekend begins.
When: This Saturday, 9th May
Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: STMC Running Track
Cost: €10 (Includes an STMC Blue Run top and refreshments)
Whether you intend to run, jog, or simply enjoy a sociable walk and a coffee, we would love to see you there. Families, partners, and even dogs are more than welcome! With the weather forecast looking excellent, we hope to see a strong presence from staff, students, and parents alike to support the Student Council’s hard work.
TY Bake Sale: Rescheduled

Please note that the TY Bake Sale in aid of the Spiritan Missions and children in need in Tanzania and Mauritius has been rescheduled.
New Date: Monday, 11th May
Time: During break times
As the boys prepare for their immersion trip later this month, we are asking all TY families to get involved and support this worthy cause.
Donations: Baked goods can be dropped off at the Chaplain’s Office on Monday morning.

TY Sports Day
Looking ahead to next week, the Transition Year Sports Day is scheduled for next Friday. It promises to be an enjoyable day of activity and community spirit.
When: Friday, 15th May
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Wanderers Rugby Club
Highlights: There will be a BBQ and an ice cream van on-site for the students.

DCU TY Open Day

Well done to the Transition Year group who attended the DCU Open Day this week. It was an informative afternoon and our students represented the school excellently. We hope the experience provided valuable insights into future academic and university life.
Barista Course

A "well done" and a note of thanks to all the students who participated in the final Barista Workshop. The skills on display were impressive and the quality of the coffee and hot chocolates produced was great too!
Gaisce Bronze Award
Congratulations to all students who have successfully completed their Gaisce Bronze Challenge. This is a significant achievement that reflects great personal commitment.
